FRIDAY, MARCH 4, 2011 Quiet Riot success of the show at the Festival de Jerez

Whenever a function is about a festival of this caliber, as has recently been at the Festival de Jerez is an experience as it exposes in his work, Ruben Olmo, of quiet riot.

All the nerves that emerge between artists is a cluster of responsibility that comes with the play technically and emotionally convey the whole channeling adrenaline energy that is generated by exposing audiences to understand a work like Ruben Olmo.Compleja, risky, with scenes of different sensations to be unified in its entirety to have the vision the director has that feeling of quiet riot of "dancer" in his vindication of a life fully dedicated to art and dance and the sacrifice that entails.

In this hard road that we are many, the action is powerless to move for both institutions and society refiere.Una tough fight to exhaustion, in which we are often tempted to throw in the towel, and do not in looking for that magic moment in which we connect with the public and we feel close to and understood.

How could it be otherwise in a job so personal, so well expressed, emerged from the very bowels of an artist as unique as Rubén Olmo, the entire audience turned into an ovation at the end of the function.

All the effort paid off nerves on the night of March 2 against the public Jerez.Ese festival is the magic moment for which we give a lifetime of dedication, composed of countless hours of hard work, not always is adequately remunerated and appreciated by government agencies, Flamingo being cataloged as a World Heritage Site ... so is the artist and the dancer and so is the "Quiet Riot" which exalts the soul in a night like this.

Thanks Ruben for your perseverance, your struggle worthy of admiration and trust in us making us share in your world.

March 2, 2011: Festival de Jerez with "Quiet Riot" Ruben Olmo, an award for "Best Choreography" for the Biennial of Seville, 2010

We are fully tested Quiet Riot with Ruben Olmo for everything to be perfect in one of the most important Flamenco festival, the Festival de Jerez.

Aware of the responsibility this entails we certainly do honor to the prize won in the only way we know, with hard work and dedication.
Ruben Olmo, with which it is a privilege to work for his wisdom, professionalism and discipline, as well as artistically is an example and a source to be beber.

Me feel fortunate to share the stage with both he and the rest of the company , possessors of a great human and artistic learning every day of this great pool of young large breed.

The show is a journey through the emotions of the artist before and during "function, a flow of quiet riot, being more thoughtful work of Ruben Olmo, which portrays the discipline and sacrifice of the different suits and bailarín.
Sirviendose rhythms of flamenco, is also a tribute to the personality of Manuela Vargas and transgressive dancer Israel Galván, two of the most important and revolutionary icons of this art as ours, but in a more current sound have a place to ancestral a bagpipe and compositions of Catalan Oscar Roig.
Concludes the show with the message of freedom that is the feeling that produces admire and / or recreate the art.

Our dependence is required to capture the beauty through excellence always dance to the enjoyment of audience that we must, without doubt this is the case of production of Quiet Riot I have the great pleasure to take part.

I invite you do not miss the opportunity to see at the Festival de Jerez, March 2 at 21 horas.Podéis www.telentrada.com buy tickets or at the box office Villamarta Jerez de la Frontera.

Back to Spain after a huge success in New York with "Flamenco Hoy "

Intoxicated with the success of both public and criticism from New York to show Carlos Saura "Flamenco Hoy ". They are 9 functions in 5 days with a full audience and a standing ovation at every one of them. They were hard days of double ... but fatigue could not make a dent between components. Both as a dancer, as a repeater of the company certify that can be very proud of the work in the City Center Theatre, which no doubt will return.
